FAA Flight Simulator Custom Application Development
IT professionals at S&K Global Solutions are working to transform a legacy software application into an advanced, next generation web-based system for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The Simulator Inventory and Evaluation Scheduling System (SIESS) is a primary software application utilized by the FAA National Simulator Program. The application assists in the collection, reporting, scheduling, remediation, and tracking of Flight Simulation Training Devices.
The new application will be embedded with advanced logic to inform users of the appropriate FAA regulations pertaining to any SIESS activities being performed. Ensuring secure access in any environment is paramount, so SIESS will offer both MS Windows and application authentication. SIESS will also be encrypted as required by FAA Security Policy guidelines and ensure that electronic documents submitted online will be sent with maximum security and efficiency.
Overall, the new SIESS application will provide National Simulator Program management with the ability to control user access and maintain flexibility to modify decisions according to FAA regulations.
